Moroccan style tiles are hot this season and with good reason. The tiles come in wide variety, so it'll be hard to choose just one. They can be heavily ornate or have a simple graphic pattern that gives your home instant character.  The tiles encompass elements of geometric, organically fluid, floral, or the combination of all three in its design. The colors can be deep, warm, bold, or veering towards a rustic look that is reminiscent of a villa from a tropical locale. The way you can integrate Moroccan tiles into your home is by using them as accents. They can be used on an accent wall or as a rad trim. If you want the full bold impact use them for your floor and they will make your space appear bigger with large format tiles.

5 | Wood-look Porcelain

As humans, we have a natural attraction to plants and it becomes our inspiration for everything including our homes. However, actual wood for the home has its fair share of cons, including maintenance, expenses, everyday wear and tear. That's why the wood-look is perfect -- you get the look without the work to upkeep wood. The wood-look is achieved by printing wood grain texture onto porcelain. Porcelain has very low upkeep, it’s easy to clean, and does very well in high moisture areas, so you can use wood-look tiles in your bathroom.

Achieve the natural aesthetic with wood-look tiles by using them on your kitchen floor. Keep it on the warm side with mid to light tones to keep your room looking bright. Have fresh, lush, and green plants to add more life into your kitchen (it'll match well with the warm tones in the tile, too). If the plants are potted, use terracotta pots to keep the warm theme going or use white as a bright neutral. White cabinets look best with this look, so the plants and floor will have their time to shine. Feel free to use the wood-look on your walls as well, and the tips above will still apply.
